Keyboard shortcuts
No files selected
⇧ + click selects a range; the Select all box takes every file currently shown (handy combined with the filter).
Prefix
Removes everything before the first _, then capitalizes the first letter.SFX_whoosh → Whoosh
Find & replace
Everywhere in the name. The extension is never touched.
Letter case
The category prefix (SFX_…) is left unchanged.
List
Removes the files from the list. They stay on your disk.
Current file
Trim leading silence
Cuts everything before the sound actually starts. On the waveform, the red area is what will be removed.
Loudness: normalization + limiter
Brings every file to the same perceived loudness (EBU R128 / ITU BS.1770), then a look-ahead true-peak limiter keeps it under the ceiling.
Loop creator
Repeats a seamless loop to build a longer file, e.g. a 20-second bed turned into 3 minutes. A new file is created next to the original. WAV, AIFF and MP3.
WAV and AIFF: original format, sample rate and bit depth preserved (trimming and looping are completely lossless). MP3: re-encoded at 320 kbps with gapless (LAME) info and the original ID3 tags. Loop creator: WAV, AIFF and MP3 only. M4A, FLAC, OGG: analyzed but not modified.
